my buddy back home had an 09 legacy and what a pos that thing was, the vents all fell into the dash, the trunk stopped shutting, and my favorite is the car had 22k miles on it and the radio completely stopped working, turned out the speakers were blown too and ill admit he played it loud but as a guy who puts systems including subwoofers into all my stuff, he didnt play it so loud that the factory speakers shouldnt have been able to handle it ... subaru wanted $200 to "diagnose the problem" ... a buddy of his put pioneer everything into it for $375 for parts + install

Also a friend of my dads had 2 of the outback wagons always dealer serviced. The 98 blew the head gasket at 77k mi bout 3 hrs from home, hes a doctor and the lot AAA towed it to sold nissans too so he asked what they would give him on trade in as is for the subaru ... so he drove off in a 2006 altima, then gave the 02 wagon to his wife. Later it started making a noise he didnt like so that got traded in on a TSX

Subarus can be a lot of fun but it seems like they have a lot of issues to me

keyword had, its now 2012 .... so that car was around for 4 years, and I say that not knowing when you sold it. For people who buy cars and plan to keep them a while and have problems at fairly low mileage is unacceptable to me.

I sold it to my buddy. Still 404 hp and no problems. It had 40k on it when I sold it.

fairly low miles, lemme know when it hits 100k without something on the engine going out. Then again WRX's seem to for whatever reason be built better than the legacys / impreza

It's over 100k. It was an 08 I sold it in 09. Point being all makes have lemons I have had good luck with Subaru and so have many of my friends. I would not give my wife money to buy a car if I didn't think it was a good car.

Plus looking on car and driver and edmunds there are really no bad reviews for the car. All 4-5 stars.

Once I have a job or some means of making money, and stop traveling all the time, a bender is at the top of my to-buy list. That and a notcher. Hopefully I can start building stuff for people again at that point.

I need to register to vote in washington.....

But honestly, weed is practically legal in colorado, and most other places. I'm not trying to sound like a pot smoking hippie or anything, but my friends and I don't really hide it when we smoke, and we've never been confronted about it. We get a thumbs up on occasion, but no one has ever seemed bothered of offended. Its not even uncommon for strangers to join in with us

In my experience, weed is generally accepted by the public. I'm sure that would be a different story with law enforcement, but they're just doing their job.

Drove this little gem today. Needless to say, its my style. Took it around horsetooth, handled the curves well, but I was unable to see what really happens because it was raining.

Its a pretty sweet deal. Plain jane interior, Pioneer touch screen head unit, power windows, doors, mirrors. No power seat (boohoo right?). The bolstered seats are damn comfy. It was the 6 speed, the short throw is pretty awesome. Most of the power is on the top end with excellent throttle response in lower gears.
