I will disagree with that. I have the ALL PRO front skid and was told by my mechanic to lay off the skid cause it was beginning to bend my front Xmember

Never been much of a story teller and trying to type a book on this F***ing BB Storm is a pain. Hopefully my company will upgrade me to an IP4 while I am out here.

Anyone know when the IP5 releases? Wonder if I should deal until that releases.

IIRC, generally apple releases the ipone and ipods in late july to early august

your story telling was very satisfying :D I am looking at AP skids so i was curious too. and the teaser was killing me.

so far i have the IFS all pro skid on there and that thing is beefy...the bud builts and ATOs much be ridiculously strong!

the Tcase looks to be nice, except the kick down for the exhaust...it would be nice if they had another plate to angle forward creating a ramp to slide on instead of a scoop to grab shit

Correct me if I am wrong I didnt think you had to re-route for the budbuilt skids...at least to me it doesnt sound like it in there description

    "
Replaces both stock thin sheet metal skids with 3/16" thick LASER cut steel, CNC press brake formed beef! 4 pieces bolt on to existing mounting points with no welding or fabricating required. Recessed, flat head and carriage bolts give a nice smooth bottom. Only a small drain hole for changing oil interrupts that smooth surface. Rocks, stumps, and lesser vehicles have nothing to catch on. Edges are formed for strength and rigidity with gaps to allow for ease of cleaning and mud removal. Provides a smooth bottom for your Tacoma without holes and notches to catch things on the trail. Covers from the front crossmember near the bumper to behind the transfer case. Low hanging exhaust crossover pipe is protected with a smooth sheet of steel. Front alignment adjustment points are protected from rocks too."

you maybe right...it looks like they have a spacer bar that rests on the factory cross member to give the spacing needed and the skid that covers the oil pan extends over part of the transmission area and connects with the tcase skid that overhangs past the cross member...

you think the tcase skid would work fine without their mid skid?

Work with allpro mid? I dont think it would work correctly. There would be about a 5" gap between the 2 I believe.

the all pro setup leaves the gap between the oil pan and the tcase cross member...and it looks like the bud built mid and tcase join together in between those two areas...so you'd almost have to get the bud built mid to properly fit the tcase skid

Heh, I dont now what came from my keyboard up there but thats what I was getting at. AP to AP and Bud to Bud would match up best. I have Bud front and mid.
