So I just moved to Loveland CO about 2 months ago....had to take the wifey to DIA last month and I used 470. Looking at a map it looked like the best way to go. I just got the bill...$25 to use a freakin toll? WTF? Each time I used it there was nobody on the road either. It was only about 25 miles each way. Why is that road so $$$$$$? I can drive the entire state of PA on a turnpike and its about $30.

Yea, its damn spendy, next time take a different route. Like highway 52 or 85 to Tower Road.

Oh and check out the Colorado Events thread, you're right by close the meet on Nov 2nd.

Welcome to Loveland. Get one of those little windshield stickers (King Soopers I think) and register it online to your license plate/vehicle and it will save you lots of money. I use it frequently to go to/from DIA and occasionally southern Denver and it doesn't cost me but a few bucks.

Holy over buy batman. All for that grille? Save me the empty cans and bring them when we do your bumper. Our new trash company will let us recyle those cans. Just no lids.
EZ Pass is pre billed to a card on file with them and I think you save an additional .50 per pass. If you just register the plates it is still much cheaper. I bet he still had out of state plates? I think they tack on the surcharges for that but don't know for sure.

If you call them and tell them you just moved here and did not know I will bet they will reduce that bill and sign you up at the same time.

Yeah it's like $30 for the ez pass but worth it if you ate using it. They even charge us at the fd. We have the ez passes on our fire trucks. It was only to be a toll road until it was paid off... Then they fired the employees and made the tolls more and put cameras in.

Will do. My Taco is stock and looks pretty weak compared to most I see here. A buddy of mine convinced me to take it somewhere near allenspark, some school. Had a bunch of trails, it was a good time. 1st time in 4x4 for the taco I think. I still got a lil worried about getting some scratches.

Yeah I still have my PA plates on. My parents are coming to visit in a few weeks. Ill search around to see what I can get. Ill call tomorrow to see if I can get a drop in the fee. Still, those roads will relieve a lot of traffic, shouldnt be so $$$$.

    Thanks again!

 that paint isn't all for the grill. Most of it is for the front bumper.
