Apparently my professor's are recognizing Vet's day today, my chem class/lab AND my calc class were cancelled. Super stoked, rockin' out to one of my favorite artists, Opiuo, on my way up to test out some new mtb components for my trail bike. Drooool...

It was 11* when I got to work this morning. We had to let the kids inside to wait. I'm thinking to myself, the school always made us wait outside, but most of my knuckleheads didn't wear coats. I think maybe we were more intelligent as children that these younger generations are.

Isn't that a self incriminating statement being as you're tasked directly with the intelligence or lack thereof of said pupils? ;) :D

Bet he did not think that through as he typed it.

Besides parents these days expect the schools to supply coats, hats, and gloves. What are my taxes going to? :D

Does he live down by you? Looking for someone willing to assist me with hanging a heater in my garage and running the gas line. I've got CSST and fittings and can do the electrical side since I did that for a brief period so I'm looking for someone in the biz to work for side-work type pay to assist me with getting this bad boy installed and running.

If you go to the post and click on "Opiuo" it should hyperlink to the song I was listening to wrenching on the bike this morning. Or...HERE. Very groovy, funky EDM style music. I was a big techno geek in the early 2000's, '05 I moved out to Steamboat and got into the skiing/biking/music scene. Northern CO embraced "dubstep" music early on, I had always been into EDM so it was just another branch of music for me. I am NOT a fan of Skrillex and the crap that comes to mind when you hear the word "dubstep", so I try to not relate what I listen to with that word. But damn, Pretty Lights, Robotic Pirate Monkey, VibeSquaD, all bad ass EDM bands, all out of Denver/Boulder area. Sorry, end rant of how awesome CO music is.

And yeah I have listened to The Mars Volta, some of the sounds their guitarist squeals out sounds similar to Tom Morello from Rage Against The Machine (one of my favorites). A little too Emo-y for me, but I like a couple of their songs. I am a blues junky at heart, no voices sound better than Muddy Waters, Melissa Etheridge, Buddy Guy, Clapton, Susan Tedeschi, Robert Cray or the wealth of blues voiceboxes still around today. Well, not Muddy Waters, but I think the others are still here!

    Music is pretty bad ass.
