    They're both made about the same way but a lot of people would say bud built holds up a little better. I think the difference is in the production. All Pro operates in bulk production so I'd assume they get lower in house costs. And they also happen to have a special right now.......thats a great price, if you're looking for a skid just get that one.

    A few bolts are different.
    allpro skids are also half as thick as Buds i believe.


    Edit: nope I was wrong. 7ga. for allpro, 3/16" for bud. Thats the same. Maybe the actual metal quality is different :notsure:

    I double checked on their sites before I made my post :p

    There are thicker skids out there, but honestly for the weekend worrier tacoma 3/16" is thick enough to get the job done all day. I've wheeled with a few guys who have all pro skids and they hold up just the same as mine. I made my own but it's still 3/16 plate.

    DOT, you'll be happy with the all pro skid. and that really is a great price right now. $150 is less than I sell mine for :(
