on another note. this is how my night went

1st gen to the rescue!


this was a coworker of mine that made some VERY bad decisions last night

i got a call about 9pm last night from him and apparently he decided to go up to pingree park to go wheeling........then got stuck....... ALONE

-didn't tell anyone where he was going
- didn't pay attention to where he was
-went alone!
-basically stock 2nd gen
- no winch
-no straps
-no hi-lift
- not the best tires (not aired down)
- no shovel
- no cold weather gear other than a light jacket
- less than 1/4 tank of gas

he got stuck in a drift of about 2-3' of snow. has to be the luckiest guy ever because he got stuck in probably the 1 and only spot with cell reception. told me kinda where to find him but basically told me to "follow his tracks". well, its snowing and the tracks were non existent. i knew the area fairly well so i found him about 11pm finally, pulled him out and got back to town about 2-230am

moral of the story,1st gen FTMFW. don't go wheeling alone and unprepared

i'm not bashing the guy but he just made some very bad decisions and got extremely lucky.

 

Seriously?! lol My grandpa was selling his literally like under a year ago with those exact options. it was a TRD sport six speed.

 

You will have access to it until you accept the ins companies offer. Until then you still own the truck and all the pieces attached to it.

 

I think its safe to say some Bashing is in order, Who the fuck goes offroading in snow at night?! Like at least when its warm you can just say fuck it and crash in your rig til morning, But hypothermia is no joke, I think the biggest fucks up he did was, GOING alone, Not having a full tank of gas at least, And not telling people where he was going.

 

So that's where all our snow went. The bastards.
