Yeah you don't need an off road tire really sean you could go with an aggressive street tire, or a less expensive AT.

35's would be way more badass on the Tundy but i think 33's look fine too

3/1 with 33's. I wanna say the exact size is 305/55/20 but don't quote me on that.

Too small!! :) 35's or bigger, I thought my tires looked small on my runner with 4 inches of lift though.

Yeah and you are 2 inches taller than my runner was. A tundra needs 35's for sure.

    Thanks a lot man!

My biggest problem is I can't go look at them as I'm in northern wy  looking in CO for one as there are so many but also cause I have to come to Denver to drop off my current dd as we are giving it away and I'd like to pick up a wrx for the ride back and a new dd.

    Thanks for the info though!

I'd honestly be okay with like an aftermarket exhaust on one. Light mods like that don't scare me too bad.

But finding one I like has been hard.

    My dads is fun :p

Nice to know a 2003 is still worth that much and ours has less miles on it then that.
It might be and maybe just debadged?
I had our broker look for a Sport Edition and came back to us with an SR5 JBL edition. Everything was exactly like a Sport except the badges and the SKEWP. :D Oh and it was about $3k less.

If it has the V8 the only things that tend to be a pain are the headers cracking (ours has a small crack in it now) which makes them sound like they have a stuck valve until they are warm and the sunroofs will fall off track (ours has a loose stabilizer). Both of these are not horribly expensive parts wise but will kick your ass into tomorrow from the labor.
You are making the right choice man. And definitely other AT's vs the Duratrac. Take a look at Hercule's tires too. :)

I want the skwep. I would be ok with the v6 too. It can't be any slower than my 2000 3slow.

    Ahem:wave:

Same as the tacos, only the sports have the "scoop". Sports also have larger calipers, and most cannot get 16" wheels to fit.

The 03'-04 V6's have the 4 spd tranny, 05+ got the 5 spd. If you go with the V8, the timing chain and water pump needs to be done at 100K, which is an ~$2K expense if it hasn't been done, so that is probably the biggest thing to consider. If you can find one, I would say a V8 '08 would be the "best" 4th gen runner to pick up.

Thanks for the info. I don't want to go to new. Because I don't want a big payment on this. But we will see what happens.

Price, I'm trying to finish my house projects. Buy some land up in the canyon, and still buy my quad this summer.
