In regards to the light reflecting off the hood due to the skewp, I've noticed no difference from other vehicles that don't have it. Light reflects off the hood of a non-skewped hood and blinds the driver in the exact same manner. The only difference is that the sun is just at a different angle when it does so. I think the biggest disadvantage with the skewp is visability - especially when cresting hills and humps off-road.

yeah i have only noticed it on my company ford expedition which blinded the hell out of me the other day while driving down speer. Ive never had my tacoma hood blind me. Maybe its just the awesome color :D

Devin, i know where we can get a skewp, and we could paint it any color you wish!!!! That 2nd one DOT posted looks like a pretty good deal. 60K too

Ha, maybe. I think Bob went with a vinyl hood sticker due to bad glare and he's sans skewp as well. Gotta love the hwy 6 commute!

On Dev's 4 runner that entire ARB has to come off to get the damn winch out and if it is bent, it might be a bitch to take off. Now if I had a plasma cutter...:D

http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/3716636270.html Meh, high-ish mileage. And not too descriptive either.

My neighbors have a red double cab, 01-04 body style. They are always selling things; boats, cars, motorcycles, and I think I saw a orange/black for sale sign on the truck last fall (though they are still driving it now). I'll check, they definitely aren't the craigslist/sell at a dealership type, more like the local want ads type.

He sent me a text. It'd be nice to get the tub back, but it's not needed for anything at the moment. Thanks!
