I have no friggin' clue...hopefully everyone took their Midol with a hefty helping of alcohol to wash it down and now they're all resting and finding their manliness again. LOLOLOLOL

I had the alcohol covered earlier, now I need to do the sleep part....

 

I'm still here....did all the children go to bed? LOL. us old folks don't need much sleep anymore anyway!

I live around that area and would like to run up to grizzly lake in that area but am having a hard time figuring out when that trail would be passable...

Idk why I'm here I had left already but can't sleep

 

Not for me. I've been going since about 6:00am. Taking my mom to various pharmacies, doctors, chemo treatments & then when I finally lay down in bed a couple hours ago to relax I get a knock on our bedroom door from my mom who had a reaction to one of her new chemo treatments. I've been sitting in the ER with her since like 10:00 and we're waiting for test results to see how we're going to proceed. She's doing better now & is actually sleeping a little as I type this. I just want this day/week to end already. Just seems like it's been nothing but bad news & dead ends.

Thank man. They kept her overnight for IV antibiotics & fluids. She started displaying symptoms of infection which was scary given the cocktail of chemo treatments she was given on Thursday & Friday. She was resting good finally so I headed home at about 5:00am to get some sleep. Just kind of a shitty end to a week filled with nothing but bad news for her. Hopefully we can start to move forward w/o any further set backs.

 

Feel for ya Jer. Lost my dad in October to a brief albeit brutal battle with cancer. We found out on my bday aug 24 and he was gone oct 13. He was too proud to tell anyone he was sick, fucking old school Italian. The massive chemo and radiation ate him up from the inside and just hastened the process. One valuable thing I learned is I will never, ever if I get cancer do chemo or radiation. Might was well be drinking fucking Draino. Poor dude went from 185 to 118lbs in about 5 weeks. He quit eating, constantly puked up brown shit and lost all bowel control. I must have driven to Vegas weekly. I miss him but am glad as hell the suffering was quick and the pain was managed. Fuck cancer
