    I quit smoking cigs cold turkey back in 2005....My choice was Camel filter wides...that and the Marlboro special blend no27. I tried to "wean off" the cigs, but it never worked. Just had to do it cold turkey.

    same here as far as the cold turkey thing. I tried a few of the quitting aids and just found I was trading one nicotine addiction for another and then before I knew it i was smoking again. Camels were my brand as well

    The previous times I've quit it was cold turkey as well. I hadn't smoked in about 6yrs when I picked it back up again a year ago. I had only smoked about 6mo before I converted to the e-cig, then only about 4mo with nicotine in it. Last cig of choice was Camel Crush lights. I was always a menthol gal.

    Both my old roommates quit by using the electronic cigarettes, they use to smoke so often they started by upping the nicotine amount and weened themselves down
