A bumper here, some tires there..... you know, stuff.
well, i have finally hit that point at my job where i DGAF anymore. i have done every job there and because of that i am the "go to guy" when shit hits the fan. don't get me wrong, i love being the "go to guy" but it has come to the point where it's no longer "hey, i bet he would be willing to do it" but rather "just make him do it". 10hr days are no stranger to me and when i only work 8 i feel like i had a nice short day. my gripe is that shit just gets dumped on me because the majority of everyone there is too freaking lazy and i'm left to deal with it. i feel like the new motto is "do twice as much...... but in half the time"

ok, i'll end that rant there i suppose (at least i feel a little better now:))

so, on that note, if someone knows of anyone in the NOCO area that has a job opening it would be much appreciated. ideally, i'm looking to find a job with a fabrication company of sorts. i enjoy building just about anything so that's where i'm starting at the moment. hell, i'm even open to apprenticeships/ internships if it will offer me something more permanent in the future.

now back to the regularly scheduled BS

OK, decision time...I have been looking for a RV / toy hauler and a guy at work is willing to trade me his $48k toy hauler for my Tacoma. I will then have to go out and buy a diesel. So is it really worth it giving up my little love Taco for a bad ass toy hauler and diesel? I always said I would never get rid of the Taco, but this deal is one of those cant walk away kinda things.

Yeah, ride our quads and camp atleast once a month. And daily drive diesel isnt any different except the size of the truck. Only real downside I can see is that. Because a Cummins is just about as reliable as a tacoma in my opinion. And I am drooling over this one already. I think my wife will be pissed if I tell her I want to sell the Taco. It took a fair bit of convincing to get her to buy it in the first place and now she loves the thing.

If your going to buy a dodge of get the 2007 or 2007.5 cummins. They will run for ever. And hold their value like crazy so you will defiantly pay more than a Tacoma for one but it will pull what you need and drive for ever.

LOL, piss the warden off, thats a good one. I think its a tough call, if I could only convince the wife to get rid of her 4runner and keep both tacoma and get the dodge that would be awesome. But that wont happen. Might just have to let this deal go by the wayside just for a pure financial reason. Only 1 year until the Taco is paid off vs. having a massive loan again on the dodge.
