Yah, i've heard they can be a little expensive. I'm hoping his skid plate will be simple enough that it won't cost much. materials should be simple also, just square tube, some plate and a few bolts.

if they get a bunch of orders from other guys for the same skid i'm hoping they'll sell it at a competitive price

Sorry I thought yall were talking about a bumper. I'm not in the market for any more skid plates :D. The rear bumper I'm looking to get is custom with Armorology.

LOL are you looking at the one with the tire carrier ? or just the bumper ?
If I remember right I got a quote from them for just the bumper and with the install the cutting and all it was like 1500
And the down fall is that they need to keep the truck for a day or 2 :(

I assume DOT is speaking of a high clearance because in his description he mentioned "with the install the cutting and all"

Ya, that is why I went with All-Pro bumpers. My original plan was to have Jed build me some bumpers but after talking with him I couldn't Justify spending so much extra $. I really wanted a bumper with a swing gate to put a full size spare but decided not to go that route because it wouldn't fit in the garage. I am ready to buy a new house already. I need a much bigger garage!

Allpro doesnt really offer what I'm looking for in this case. I'm kinda torn between the rear bumper or a rear locker at the moment. I'm searching for a complete Elocker rear axle to swap in.

No link. My buddy who builds LT trucks in Cali said he may have one available. They can't sell them for shit there cuz no one wants them. So they're cheap.

perfect! I'm not sure if 07+ would work correctly for my application since my truck does not have all the fancy electronics. Will you ask your buddy if it is complete, 100% stock and in working order? Also ask a price if you dont mind please.
