When things go bump in the night I assume the individual(s) is here to harm me or my loved ones and dispatch of threats appropriately. I would consider your choices in pranks carefully these days. ;)

I actually met a guy who was having a garage sale and I bought $20 worth of stuff from him. I had to come back with the taco to get the bookshelf I bought and he have me back $10 of the money I have him earlier. I asked why and he said that he heard me say I was a teacher and he felt bad charging me that much for stuff he got from the trash (most of it was stuff for my classroom) I asked what he meant and he explained that he quit his painting job because he now just dumpster dives and sells the stuff he finds on CL and garage sales. Not much but he said $1200/month. Not bad considering he doesn't work many hours but have to imagine crawling through trash bins takes its toll on your clothes, upholstery and pride.

Now that sounds like a plan.

    Safe bet.

    Also a safe bet.

Don't worry about fear, you likely won't have an opportunity to feel it. ;)

I bought the ammo cheap but replacement prices are obscene these days. :D

Had a teacher in HS that told us about his life after college. While in college they did a study on being homeless... I forget he point of the study but we he learned from it was that he could make a nice living off of panhandling in NY. After college spent 2years panhandling averaging about $350 to $400 a DAY! He got bored with it and finally started teaching. It was much more fulfilling for him. :)

Nobody said you couldn't work on #1 in the meantime but #2 is something you can do right now. Like I said, nobody said you have to pick one or the other except you.

In my eyes the way you present your feeling/opinions on any subject discussed here has a tendency to read that your way is the only true way. Again just how I tend to read your words but I am pretty sure I am not completely alone on that.

It definitely does amaze me how many people do steal stuff. We deal with it fairly often in our business and we'll usually catch them. I love it too because they'll straight up lie to us. We have no problem "firing" our customers and tell them to never come back. It's amazing how many crazy people are out there.

Recently we told a guy he needs to not come back to our business because he's been showing some not normal behavior towards one of our employees and been kind of stalking her. He threatened to sue us because he wanted his $40 back LOL. We have a CCW sticker on our front door too. :D

I'm pretty resolute in my opinions. If you want to leave your stuff laying out, doors unlocked, keys in truck and valuables laying around while you enact social change then by all means, don't let my opinion stop you. Just don't expect any sympathy when someone takes advantage of the situation.
