Night run was awesome. Once we hit camp, Justin headed back down, followed by Matt about an hour later. Jeff and I camped, then planned on heading out Saxon down to Georgetown. However, once on the road as Jeff and I headed out I had voicemails from Matt saying he was stuck and tried to hike back up to camp but couldn't find us. He hiked a good 4-5 miles to the top of Saxon where I was able to finally get ahold of him since service was in and out. Jeff and I turned around and went up Saxon where Matt was hanging out by a tree and slept for a few hours on a picnic table. We then headed down the mountain where he accidently took a wrong turn on a trail that no one had been on in a long time, soft dirt, steep, plus being dark he couldn't see. But with Jeff's awesome winching skills we got him out with luckily minimal damage. He was inches from a tree and only pushed against it on the rear door and a little scratch on the driver door. I honestly thought he was going to lose a mirror or hit the tree pretty hard. But lucked out. Anyway, here's pics!

Matt hiked way up here, probably walked within 30 yards of us as he was trying to find camp, but was on a different path up Saxon.

Where Matt was stuck, I would have shit my pants, it was steep, slick, and in the night couldn't be fun

The rescue vehicle. I manned the winch as Jeff guided Matt away from the tree the best he could. Pics don't do justice how steep it was. The dirt was extremely soft as well

I can't believe how far Matt hiked. 4-5 miles doesn't seem far but up steep ass trails, plus in the middle of the night, had to be rough.

Winch was the only option, the angle of it was pushing him down the cliff side, while there was a rock right under the rear diff as well. Made it pretty challenging.

    A few bolts are different.
Had a great time on the trail last night and today. As nervous as I was as we were trying to get Matt out with minimal damage, I had a blast doing that too! He was definitely a trooper through is situation and not being able to get us on the cell. Makes me bump up CB on my mod list to the top.

    This pic is BA!
