Haha... that's basically what's going on man. How many times I gotta pay for stuff? Sheesh.

I'm going to keep that to myself for now in hopes that he's willing to just let things be now. If he gives up then I'll gladly let things go. I will keep an eye on his interaction moving forward though to make sure he's not trying to pull something on someone else. If he chooses to get agro I'll make it known.

It's not really a trail run type ride. It's bumpy but that's about it. You could make a camping/fishing weekend out of it.

Sooooo you're saying there is a chance. :p

Almost sealed a deal on a house that is being built already up there but they would not budge on paying closing costs. So I will let the builder eat their spec home and build mine.

but CO doesn't have inspections so it depends on the officers to enforce the laws

versus other states that go in yearly for inspections that you have to make sure your shit is in line

i've heard people in NH getting pulled over for having lowered vehicles and because their frame was modified, they received a ticket and had their vehicle impounded. what else they did to deserve that, who knows, but the impounding was supposedly due to the frame modification.

It's one of my favorite places to camp. My buddy lives not far from there. I want to build a place up there one day.

^Post-celebratory stop at Stranahan's. Mr. Jace is da man (with the plan). It's so nice not being catapulted off into space when going over one of Alameda's many potholes. Carry on!

For those of you that are running Duratracs, are you running C or E load range?

I think 6 ply is all you need for these trucks. 10 ply is way overkill but I'm sure some are running them since they're only a few bucks more per tire. My Duratracs just got ordered (thanks snichols28!) and will be here tomorrow. Wheels are scheduled to be delivered Thursday. Look for pics Thursday or Friday.

Im running C but i hear that most people even if you payed for C you end up getting E mounted up. At least thats what happened to 3 of my friends that ordered tires through discount tire

On these trucks it really doesn't matter. Not like you'll ever come close to exceeding the C rating in these beds anyway. E rating just means slightly heavier & slightly less flexible when running low pressure. The trade-off is better resistance to pressure when running heavy loads for larger trucks.
