City of Evans is now saying water is safe, but still no flush/shower/laundry.

Stay safe out there, thanks to you and all of our LEOs/FF/Emergency services.

 

I guess I'll add in that our flooding wasn't as gnarly as most places. We had some houses flood in town from what I saw but nothing like what hit down south, so really the roads that I saw that were flooded were only a few inches deep. Up the canyons things got washed away, but as for in town the flooding was minimal compared to the few feet that hit everywhere else. Our water just traveled south and made it worse down there I think.

I rarely comment on the lack of discretion used on a message board but feel as though yours in this instance is beyond comprehensible.

You want to go post it in the off topic room? Fine. But posting it in this specific thread where there are people who are being evacuated, losing possessions, actual LEOs and FFs helping others in time of dire need...

I didn't do it to upset anyone. I apologize if that was the case. I recently moved here and couldn't even get to the town that I live in. I had to sleep in my truck on some random county road. Seeing this picture helped me to laugh it off. Of course there are people affected much worse than me and I hope the best for them. I just think humor is a better way to address problems.

I lived in NY most of my life and this happened twice in 5 years devastating entire families, towns, cities and businesses... Twice.

All I was trying to do was lift spirits with a little humor. I'll delete it if I can.

I apologize.

Yeah, Magpul had several of their Unimogs there helping evac efforts. Magpul.. you know, that Colorado proud company who's life goal is to make baby killing devices.
