Made it down. Barely... The wheel spacer gave me about 1" of clearance from the tire to the spindle. allowing it to rotate. started it up and it still wouldnt move. my rear tire was like locked and wouldnt move now. looked at it and the rear passenger U bolts that hold my springs to the axle were pushed back about 4 inches causing my axle to push back as well, making the E break line pinch. 2of4 bolts were loose and I didnt hit anything back there. It also wasnt locked like that last night as I would move either. the only thing stopping me was my front tire. Weird. Anyway. got the bolts loose, kicked the axle back and i was back in business!

The drive down wasnt bad at all. Just my steering alignment is off and hard to control. But I made it with the hazards on!

    More pics.

    Here she was all broken

Being the only jack I had thats the only place I can jack it up enough to get the tire off.

Wow glad you made it down OK. It is just weird that spindles bend. Since they are cast metal and not formed you would think they would break. Or at least hold up better. Hearing all these issues is making me think gussets are a good piece of mind investment.

Yeah you could also check out deer creek canyon for lower trails. Roxbrough Park has some nice trails too. Hell even Chatfield Res. has some nice trails for kids.

Deer Creek canyon also Mount Falcon park or Mathew Winters park just north Red Rocks. These are more front range trails and not at higher elevations. But the trails around Mount Evans that Bob suggested are nice too.

Believe it or not Roxbrough Park has some nice loops with good scenery. Only you have to pay to get in the park.

WTF? Are you burning a baby crib?

Need more explanation. If that is a firepit it's big one. Someone in my neighborhood had one going last night. Could smell it. Love that smell.

Trail rating is pretty easy. I think it's lower end medium. So far I think it's just my truck taking some people up to their stock jeep.

We found it in the rafters of our garage. Along with some old wooden crates. They burned within a few mins haha
