Some teams built around him? Let's not forget that he basically NEVER had a defense or special teams. The year they won the Super Bowl the Colts had the WORST defense in the NFL at the end of the regular season. For some reason they went beast mode and were really good in the playoffs that year. Adai also had a breakout season and other than a couple of decent Wide Outs he really hasn't had much talent around him. I don't think it's not that he doesn't handle pressure and dislike that all-encompassing term some label him with. I think he doesn't do well in cold weather which is somewhat understandable but a rather large flaw in a winter league. I've seen him do some AMAZING things in clutch time of football games that only a handful of QB's across the decades could have done consistently the way he has.

He lost a very hard fought game on the road in one of the most unforgiving stadiums in the league in one of their coldest games on record to a fluke mistake by special teams LATE in OT and we're ready to call Manning a bust? C'mon folks. He's a converted 3rd down or a caught ball from being labeled a hero and people saying he FINALLY kicked that Patriots/cold weather block. Don't give into the media narrative that sensationalizes EVERYTHING with hyperbole to get ratings every day.

Bottom line, Peyton Manning is a DAMN good QB and Denver is lucky to have him. Look at the QB play by the other 27 or so teams in the league and tell me you wouldn't take him over just about every other QB in the league. Brady is a DAMN good QB and his record speaks volumes. The dude is a machine and as much as I hate to admit it is one of the best QB's of all time.

You want to know where the Patriots won? Coaching. I hate to put the blame on an interim coach but Del Rio has no business being a head coach in the NFL. He's a good D coordinator but beyond that he's just not cut out for it. Even Fox is questionable at that position with some of his game planning. Putting Welker back to field punts in a HORRIBLE wind was just a terrible mistake and it cost the Broncos the game. Fielding punts is a finite skill that you MUST hone regularly and if you don't it's fading talent. Welker has returned in the past but that was quite some time ago and not on 5deg nights with a 20mph shifting wind. Putting him back to field punts in that situation was just a HORRIBLE idea and it was all Del Rio's. I don't think Fox makes that call and it's one of the smart things he would have done. The fist time in OT he was back I held my breath until he cleanly fielded it and it looks liked it took quite a bit of effort for Welker to field that one. When he was back again I didn't have a good feeling and I don't think any other coach would have made that call. Not a good one at least. It wasn't like this was the first time Trendon had muffed a punt but I've seen him come back and score TD's in the same game. That's what you get with Trendon and my wife and I joking say 'It's time to play touchdown or fumble with your host Trendon Holiday!' every time he's back. But you now what? He's good. He's a weapon. With him back you have teams starting to place kicks which is gaining Denver field position. I mean, it's akin to pulling Devin Hester (look at the stats this season) because he muffed a punt earlier in the game. You bench your best special teams weapon and put your best slot receiver in danger's way. Bad call coach. There were plenty of examples that could be pointed to costing Denver the game but that's the most blatant IMO. In a close, hard-fought games you have to look at the coaches and this match-up was Belichick v Del Rio. Not even a debate and it was pretty obvious.

"You want to know where the Patriots won? Coaching"- FACT

Weather def affected Manning. Broncos defence and Pats mistakes gaves them the 24-0 lead at half time. Broncos would have ended the night with just a single TD if the Pats held on to the ball in the 1st quarter.

Ostrichsak do you think Del Rio put in Welker cause he knows Gillette better then the other options the Broncos had?

I thing Del Rio panicked when Trendon had a slip up and wanted to make himself look like a head coaching genius since he's interviewed for the USC head coaching job. Fielding punts in the NFL is a LOT trickier than those who do it make it look and those who do practice it all week long every week. It's not the same as catching passes or every team would use their best wideout to field punts. It takes a very unique hand/eye coordination and putting someone back who hasn't been practicing it in such an important moment is just poor coaching and asking for trouble. If Trendon is still returning punts I don't think we're having these same conversations. Had Denver fielded that punt with 3min left to go in OT they would have been in VERY good position to at worst tie that game the way their running game was going.

It's not that much reading really. The points are succinct and varied and it's tough to give a one-word answer. I disagree with your short post as stated and perhaps if you explained yourself better it would make more sense.

I've seen a few. There is a dark blue one with a nice front and rear bumper. I pass it almost every day on I25 on my way to school.

Not a easy task at all. Lots of pressure with the entire opposing team coming down on you and trying to level you face into the ground.

Is he an older guy? I only ask cause he never drives the speed limit on the highway, always under.

So I'm wondering what every one thinks about leafsprings and I guess over flexing them, you know when they go all the way flat and keep going, if you don't have bump stops. I have heard that alot of rock crawler guys like there springs to be able to do this and don't put in stops, but I would think it would hurt the springs after a while. What do you guys think?

Yeah he is prolly 50+. He has no sway bars and says he is too lazy to air up his tires so that might have something to do with it.

You are referring to Negative Arch I assume? Like most mods we do to off road our trucks they shorten the life span of the parts. Running NO bump stops on a daily driver is NOT something I would suggest. The Rock Crawling community that has dedicated rigs just for off road know that this becomes a part that will wear and possibly break on the trail. However they typically have a tow pig and trailer to get their rig down to and repair at home. For a DD truck you run the risk of snapping a leaf on the highway and loosing control. Also with no bump stops your shock becomes the limiter and the bump stop on the compression side. You will most likely blow out a shock in the process.

I currently have the factory bumps welded on my U bolt flip kit. They are too short and allow some N A on my EXPO packs. But they are just long enough to keep my shock from bottoming out. I have been this way for almost 2 years and have been OK so far (knock on wood). I do know that I am shorting the overall life of my leaf pack but plan to move to a new set of springs in the next year anyways. I do have plans to address the bump stops over the winter with some from Wheeler's.

Factory pack? Mine were almost flat with an AAL in them. The overload leaf keeps them from going negative too far. Time to research a set of aftermarket replacements and start saving your pennies. :D
