Good point everyone needs more tv's. I'll wait for them to go on sale again. I never pay full price for a tv.

Got in a little fender bender in boulder last night... Was trying to slow down for a light like I normally would in the conditions and I just slid slid slid bam. Was going less than 5mph. Fucked this guys car though. That bumper is ruthless. Felt pretty bad because if that had happened with the stock bumper not nearly as much damage would have been done on that guys SUV

Damn that sucks for that guy. And your insurance premiums lol. Glad everyone was ok, low speed accidents are the best ones to get in if you are going to get in one.

    Dear Commander Zabroksi,

I'm writing to you to commend your employee, Police Officer Mike Kippes. At around 0400 hours, on January 4th, 2014 my wife, Carmen and I were awoken by one of our dogs who were aggressively barking at the front door entrance. After checking the exterior of the property from the second story loft, I secured my firearm and approached the front door in attempt to get a visual of the activity via the door peak hole. I noticed an adult male was at the front door and was attempting to gain access into our residence by fidgeting the door handle.

At that time, I contacted 911 and advised dispatch of the crime in progress and that I am armed. Your dispatcher assisted me by keeping me in a calm manner as I advised her of the status updates of the alleged suspect and my whereabouts in the residence.

Approximately three minutes into the call for assistance, I heard the engine sound of the Crown Victoria approach my residence to which I secured the firearm after observing the marked Thornton Police vehicle enter, and make contact with the subject in question.

Officer Kippes response time was swift, considering the current snowy conditions. Officer Kippes did not hesitate to contact the individual and immediately secured him in the vehicle and debriefed me on the subject. Officer Kippes was extremely professional, sympathetic and was able to answer all questions I had pertaining to the incident.

Officer Kippes response time and professionalism to the incident is an example of the professionalism law enforcement agencies strive to achieve. I have seen and worked with other Police Departments representatives who cannot match Officer Kippes diligent, professional, and friendly manner.

Fortunately, my wife Carmen and I have discussed scenarios as such in the past in case a crime such as this incident was to occur, and the plan came into hand.

Please relay our thank you to Officer Kippes, and thank you to Chief Nelson for having him with the Thornton Police Department.

    Best Regards,

    Sean Anderson
