Ok thanks for confirming my thought. Problem is my original location did not lend itself to easy extraction to fill the tires. I had planned to leave it horizontal and just hook the hose up to it, fill all 4 and be done. I have a secondary spot in mind now where it will travel horizontal and I can easily take it off to fill the tires. Now just to mount it and get it filled. :D

I don't have a diff drop, but since I put on the new leaf springs I have a vibe in the back at low speed. the only thing put on sofar to correct it are shims. should I look into the carrier bearing thing?

i have the 3 deg shims in the rear as well, you can try and stack some washers to lower the carrier bearing, it might help, it might not.

EDIT: i am by no means an expert, i just did the recommended things to try and take care of any issues. :)

yep, im an automatic and have just dealt with it as normal. I tried all sorts of combinations of washers to lower the carrier bearing and nothing seemed to work so its staying as is :)

for sure. we had a customer complain about it after installing a lift, we tried everything, axle shims, carrier bearing shims, new driveshaft.... nothing worked.

The only way I have found to correct the issue was to install a single piece driveshaft. While it fixes it, it is not worth the money to have one built. The vibration is not hurting anything other then ego.

When you switch to a single piece it does require tuning to get no vibrations also. It is not just plug and play.
