I couldn't even make it through the entire reading. I am literally shaking right now with fury and despair for that poor little girl. At least she is now in a better place away from that worthless example of a mother and the waste of air that she called her boyfriend.
If I met either of them, I would not be able to stop hurting them. I wouldn't stop. They would wish that they could go as quickly and easy as the infant. But they wouldn't. If there is a hell, that would seem like a cakewalk compared to the treatment they would get from me. Prison will be a scary place for them.

I'm really tempted to become a Toyota salesperson. I'm tired of them not knowing crap. One started arguing with me that the TX Pro didn't exist. Mr "I've worked here for 10 years so I would know". BS

I told him, well that's funny because I've seen them in person.

Also BTW, arguing is a great tactic for selling cars :D

Oh and I asked if he knew more about the new TX Pros coming out and I started to talk about them a little bit. He kept saying "I don't know how you know anything about them because I haven't been told anything. You must be wrong"

I guess the super bowl commercial, countdown, and all the stuff Toyota has been putting out must be fake. Oy.

Hey everyone, I'm looking into getting a small laptop to take some of the load off my business laptop for basic surfing.

Not interested in anything from Apple and lets leave it at that. Also against HP products from past experience.
I'n not too impressed with the Windows 2n1's or the Surface, but that was just playing with them in the store, they just feel flimsy.
I want a solid state drive, they seem to last longer with me.
I found an Acer Chrome Book..

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/11-6-touch-screen-chromebook-2gb-memory-32gb-solid-state-drive/3026067.p?id=1219085759930&skuId=3026067&st=categoryid$pcmcat244900050010&cp=1&lp=7

..that looks like it might fit my needs.
Anybody have experience with these? How out of date is the Celeron processor?
I'm just looking to surf the web while I surf the couch. I do want a keyboard and a mouse pad, the touch screen is fine, wouldn't hurt to get used to using one as that is the future apparently

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Edit, I can't get the link to show up correct but it will work with a copy and paste.

We just got my wife a chrome book two weeks ago and she absolutely loves it. I've only used it a couple times for browsing and it's great. It boots up in under 8 seconds!

We got her the white HP without the 4GLTE contract or touch screen since she doesn't like the touchscreen for some reason and we've always got access to wifi at home or tethered to our phones. I know you said you were against HP though. I'm a toshiba fan myself.

The only thing about it that I don't like is that I can't run microsoft office programs on it. Google has their comparable programs in the cloud and they're very similar and work reasonably well. It's just that I work in excel all day long and the difference to me is significant to cause frustration.

Sounds like the perfect candidate for a Chromebook from what you've described. We've got one that my wife predominately uses unless we're traveling. She sleeps on flights and I use the free GoGo wifi passes so it works out pretty well. The size & battery life is great. I use my laptop (mSATA SSD) for most things though and get full Windows 8 boots in 5 seconds.

i think they only make it in black though, i love mine for the summer! lets me access the whole bed very quickly if i need to fold it down. Windows can be a pain in the butt to put on in cold temps but i like running it without windows in the summer!

and it only cost me $25 bucks :D

I ordered something from Amazon on Monday, and it still hasn't shipped. When I go into my order details it says "preparing to ship" and has said that since Monday. Is this normal? I haven't ordered much from Amazon, and every time I have it ships within one or two days. This strikes me as strange, and it pisses me off because I wanted to install my bumper and stuff this weekend.

I've only had one order that never shipped, and luckily it was something that I wanted to return.

Call or chat with them, they have good customer service.

Well I called, and the person who answered is definitely not a native English speaker. Not surprising, but I wish they could've done more for me than reading me my projected delivery dates. I could've seen that without calling. I tried to ask why the shipment was delayed, but they kept simply reciting my projected delivery dates. Frustrating

Yeah, I'm aware that it only works with Google programs, and that's fine, I just want something small, quick and reliable for low cost (tall order I know). I have my Sony for doing work on. I like Toshiba and Sony myself, I hear Acer isn't too bad. I went through 3 HP's in 4 months a few years back and that was enough of that. HP seems to have a problem running Quickbooks, or at least it did back then. They stood behind them and repaired them but losing business info 3 times, even though it is saved/backed up, I still had to set it up the program each time and that sucked ass, lol. I've been using a Sony Vaio for 3 years now and it totally rocks.

I went back down a second time to look and play again, I think I'm going to go for it. Of course it's out of stock for a week...

    Thanks guys.:)
