I want to get the bottom decal in black and grey, and also the ordinance bomb in black and grey. I think I could do a setup on my bed that would look great.

 

So what are good gears if I want to go up to 285s? 285s are like 33s right?

 

I'll be paying attention. Seems really low, but then again I'm no expert.

This year I'll be (attemping to) wheel on my 255/85s and stock 4.10s. For all I know I'm on the original clutch with 222K on it, we'll see if it decides to hold up. I want some 4.56s, but I need to find a money tree.

 

No its not. Not unless you want 32.8 inch wide tires. If you convert 285 from metric to inches you get 32.8 inches.

 

That's 285mm, of which, there are 25.4 to an inch. So I'm getting 11.2 inches, which is the width of the tire.

The second number is the aspect ratio

Then the 285 must be from the rim to the edge of the tire, cause according to the conversion thing 285 is equivalent to a 32.8 inch tire and the 75 is equal to 11.22 in width.

 

Ok I don't know what the fuck is going on with this damn convert thing. I need to find a different one, this one has given me 3 different answers for the same damn numbers and now I don't know what the right one is.

 

Thing is I know that 285s aren't 11.2 inches tall, we all know that.

 

I was just wondering how close to 33s 285s are, I think they are close just not sure how close.
Didn't need to go through all the conversion crap we just went through.
