    lol I had problems at first too... but in reality, it takes just a second to look it up online (tire rack is pretty nice) to see what the over all diameter is and tread width is.

    I was toying with going to a 255x85x16 (smaller contact patch means less rolling resistance, but better traction in snow, and a hair more clearance) but I'm really leaning towards the Goodyear Duratrack and they don't seem to make that size... or I haven't found it (very limited searching)

    I want to get a taller tire and a little wider footprint. Not so worried about rolling resistance since I don't want to go too too wide, just wider than I have now.

    You want 285/75/16s. If a 1/4" is honestly going to mess with you then you better check manufacturer specs because they're all over the place in identically named sizes.

    wait.... do you still have your stock wheels?
    You're going to want spacers or a wheel with a different offset if you want to go any wider. You'll likely start rubbing on suspension parts otherwise.
