That's up to the OP. From what I gather the OP is looking to do some EXPO styles gatherings in Colorado.

You sound perfect to me. Tomboys always win out over girly girls in my book. :)

There's a good chance that my shop could make one in a Palladium alloy that you can set precious stones in the center bearings of the gears, just a thought so your Mom doesn't get totally bent out of shape.

We're getting too fragmented Sean. I would suggest that the OP of this thread is looking for an EVENT. We have a local EVENTS thread for discussing ALL types of events & meets from rock crawling, to wheeling to lunch. Think if we had a thread for each one of those. I think we're good with a Colorado BS thread, a for sale thread and an events thread. That covers the bases and segmentation spreads the same conversations across several threads and we're already having issues with that between two threads. Adding a third similar to one of the other two just fragments things even more. We have like 10 active members.... no need for dozens of threads.

so a noob just asked for Colorado to have it's own thread & "presto" there it is with all associated sub-threads in it? Very cool. If only the USFS & BLM were as accommodating.

It's for reps. See that little 'scale' looking thing in the left left hand corner under my avatar and user info? Click it and you can add to someone's rep and all of us CO peeps take care of our own. ;) You can only hand out so much rep in a 24hr window so you have to wait until it resets and you can't rep the same member a lot so you have to spread it around. Look at that! It's been 24hrs so time for me to rep everyone for contributing to this fantastic conversation! ;)

I just learned this at lunch last week with the rep whore Ice Horse, you can click User CP and see who left you reps and then your total rep count is on the top right above the list. She thought hers was high at 125k until we looked at mine. She doesn't think hers is that high anymore. lol

Listen, you can try to take credit but the n00b wanted a section, we all urged him to email the TW and then it happened the next day. Hell, I had more to do with it than you did. ;) :p :D

We all thought you were a rep whore until we saw my total count.. now you're more of a rep skank. I'm definitely the queen B of rep whoring now. Quite the juxtaposition from not even knowing a week ago. Haha :p

I think it's great that CO got a section like it did, no matter how it happened.
Oh my phone is strange, I had to uninstall the tapatalk app to be able to log in to the normal website for some reason. My phone is GS4 too, so strange.

The local "events" thread is clustered with too much BS anymore for these lunch meets. I say at least separate a local "Meet and Greet and BS" events thread and have a local "trail run and planning thread". Just a thought.

Apparently not on here, I don't think very many Tacoma owners down here in the springs know of this website, but I know have a bad ass TW decal I need to put on my truck when the weather warms up a bit. And I have a plain white one as well.

Take it from the guy who earned the title of list & thread topic nazi on this forum... you can over organize subforums. The danger of that is watering down the traffic, conversations and bonds between members. This subforum doesn't really have that much traffic to warrant several subforums and if you branch off too quickly you'll have fragmentation which kills forums. I've seen it myself first hand and don't want to see that happen w/the Colorado subsection of TW. This is already evident by the fact that we have event conversations in the BS thread and BS in the event thread. Neither of those threads is too busy that it's impossible to keep up with conversations. The BS thread gets that way but it's just BS so if you miss a day or two you can pick up where you left off. The lunch conversations aren't THAT busy and it's usually four or five people posting up who's going where and when. Now that we're getting back into trail season I imagine that other meets and runs will soon be just as busy if not moreso but it's still easy to compartmentalize and not pay attention to meets that you don't have interest in. Hell, for nearly a couple of decades I've had to ignore meets in & around the Denver area so for me it's refreshing to have an active group of locals who want to get together for some food and stories. I mean we already have the 'trail results' thread or whatever it is and that can easily be combined with the events thread but was split off for some reason and now all of the trail run conversations are fragmented as a result. It's confusing & difficult to follow to have the same conversation in two or three different threads. If we had dozens of members and things were spinning out of control then it would be time to split off but I guess I don't see enough traffic or active membership to warrant such compartmentalization. I draw from 15yrs of discussion forum of various subjects including quite a few years of staffing some larger forums on the internet. That doesn't mean my opinion is right... it's just my opinion on this topic based on my experience. I feel like where we are now as a small group is good and I'd hate to see that get watered down through fragmentation. That's my only concern.
