Well here is the plate welded and painted. Slider project complete.

Did you weld the plate while the slider was already attached or are they bolt ons?

 

Dammit ghost, I had plans for something like that on my bumper. I am still going to do it but yours will probably look better than mine! Great job buddy!

 

They are both..... Welded and bolt on. I design it to have the strength of a weld on but I can also take them off. Hard to explain better if you saw them. Yes I welded the plate while the sliders were on the truck. I just disconnect the battery.

So I saw a badass lifted black 2ndGenTaco today while I was on my way to the phone store. Had both bumpers done, lift, tiregate. I think he was a soldier, going to have to keep my eyes out for him more and maybe put a note on his truck if I see it again. It was cleanly done too.
