Talk about cool, I saw a roadrunner today! I didn't know they got so big! I saw a small one a few years back in Moab but I didn't know we had any here that were so huge.

If they work out well, i'll paint the mounting hardware black so it doesn't stand out so much.

Wired them up to the stock fog wiring so $40 all in.

Interesting set up. I will be curious to see the light pattern when it is dark.

Kind of hard to get a good picture but I think they'll work well. They're nice and bright and should be good for seeing around a switchback at night. At any rate, the way I have them mounted, they're pretty much infinitely adjustable.

The Superbird is only one of my favorite cars. :p I actually saw TWO today! Didn't get any rock crawling footage, because nobody showed up  but there was a car show outside my house so tested out the new gopro and made this

What do you plan on using it for? That should be the biggest factor in what you want as a scope. If you for instance were an elk hunter in certain parts of the state you're not going to shoot more than 150 yards and won't ever need a long range set up. If you are an antelope hunter and want to stratch for longer ranges then you probably need a scope that will accomodate that. Let me know what you're looking to do and I may have a scope or two hanging around that would suit you

I kind of want the best of both worlds. More elk than anything but I want to be able to reach out and touch something if needed. I have a .270 for smaller game but I've always wanted the .300.

Maybe you can use it for the Colorado Purge http://kdvr.com/2014/08/18/the-colorado-purge-internet-hoax-worries-fans-of-horror-movie/

Prepare yourselves September 6th just in case some whackos think it's real.

Also, did my good deed for the day. Was driving up checking the Old Stage Road gate again and on the road up there I saw something lying in the street. Stopped to see what it was, it was a nice handheld GPS system. I fiddled with it and found it had a messaging system, so I sent a message to who knows where saying I had found it and to call me. No response. So we ended up calling the company and they searched their system using the serial number on it. They relayed our phone number to the owner and he called us and we met him at his house and returned it. He was really grateful, brand new $400 GPS that he only had activated a day or so ago. At first I refused it but he gave me $20 for returning it. He put it on his hood and forgot about it.
