yeah always do the right thing. A few weeks ago asked for $100 cash back at safeway, and she gave me $150 back but I didn't notice till later. I still went back like 4 hours later and had the managers audit her box and sure enough it was off. As I was walking out the door they handed me a $20 safeway gift card so it all worked out.

 

I know how much it would suck to lose something like that. Gotta keep the good karma rolling. Definitely a sad thing to see people are "shocked" that people do the right thing. The guy at the company was for sure, and so was the owner. Tells you how our world is today.

Hey everyone, just wanted to put out a notice that my 2009 DCSB Sport 4x4 was stolen last night from my house (around Peoria & Alameda in Aurora). I've attached a couple pictures in case anyone spots it. It has a roof rack, TRD exhaust, FJ Cruiser rims, bed cover, and KU Jayhawk logo on the driver's side of the rear window. Thanks for keeping an eye open.

how the hell does someone steal a newer vehicle with an immobilizer system????

 

Keys left in it?

 

If I remember right you can get it without that option can't you. I think Mtn states wanted like $800 for it in my 2nd gen.

 

i dont think ive ever seen a second gen without immobilizer...

 

Is that the key? I know mine had something else they installed for added security I forget now. Either way my runner has a "chipped" key (so I was told)and I had one cut at lowes to have a spare to at least open it and I can drive with it for some reason.

 

You can drive with a cut key if a chipped key is within range to have it's RFID read.

Thats how I shared a rental van with 6 people once. Taped chipped key to dash and made cut keys for everyone

Oh I can drive with it with my other key in the house. I'm thinking I don't have a chipped key but was told that it is.
