Tried that before. Sold the runner, bought an ATV, enjoyed it at the time but only lasted about 6 months until we decided we still loved rock crawling too much lol.

I figured out that I'd need to have both an offroad truck and ATV/side by side.

I have all these ideas in my head id like to make happen but I need a job first. Lol

Keep your taco Jace. I think you would regret selling your truck. Especially at this point.

I feel the same way. If they had side by sides back then we totally would have bought one. I'm bad about going back and forth too. I have a whole new plan right now about my truck that I decided after our recent trip lol.

IMO keep the taco at least. I assume it's paid off already yes? Always good to have a spare vehicle and you can still enjoy using it. Especially since it's a first gen.

Stage one plan right now that wheeling season is mostly over, got the tundra all fixed up and have a few cosmetic things to do to it and we can work on selling it for a 5.7l.

    My plan? Wrecked second gen.

Haha well, may be a first gen too. Just depends on what I find eventually. The second gens are just easier to come by. I do want to buy a brand new second gen at some point anyway. My truck is never going anywhere though.

That would probably end up being a mall crawler DD with armor on 37s

Now you sound like me :D. My buddy is getting ready to pick up a rzr 1000 so he can keep up on the trails and leave his ranger to do work stuff on his property.

Haha. I'm not a traitor only because I already have a first gen :D I'm keeping it for life. I'd just want something that gets a little more mpg and I really want the fancy in dash nav (so I can have apps too like pandora lol) and the hands free phone stuff.

I regret not buying back our rolled 96 taco. But it was bad timing when it happened.

I have been looking at getting a 1000 to tow behind the taco, those things are amazing! The trick is convincing the wife of the price tag. Tho, my wife is getting more in to wheeling her JKU, so it might be easier convincing her that she needs a prorock 44/60 combo and some 37's  Which would trump the need/want for a rzr ----kind of-----

In the side by side world. Polaris is the only way to go in my opinion. I wish the 4 person RZR1000 didn't cost almost as much as my Tacoma.

The thing about the rzr that I like over just about any vehicle is you can do 60mph between the obsticles and still run the obsticles faster. Him and I talked about building a side by side to get into the KOH type racing. That would be a blast.
Agreed. I'm hoping my buddy picks one up because of love to romp around in one.

Exactly, those things can just romp & their line options on the trail are endless. If you guys ever need a pit man let me know, im in, I went out to the second year of KOH and it's a blast just hanging out and watching the guys beat on their rigs. Could only imagine being involved in the race itself.
