Like I said, the cops like to loiter over there in their cars. So I know they've noticed it. They don't respond to bad situations hardly anyway so doubt they'd check it if I called it in lol

When I quit smoking (2005?) I had to cold turkey it. I tried to cut down and that never worked well...tried not buying them, and only bumming a cig....that didn't work well either.

    buy a truck :notsure:

Could make it a goal to quit smoking and then reward yourself with a truck. Got the urge...go drive the truck lol

Before I was born my dad smoked, so he went cold turkey and bought a motorcycle. So he did just that, felt like a smoke, drove the motorcycle instead.

I know it's a bad habit and I commend anyone who is making the attempt to quit.

I quit in 2012 cold turkey, now the smell makes me angry and sick at the same time. I also never noticed the number of butts on the ground til i quit, its kinda disturbing.

PS many thanks to Kirk @RTI for the 24 hour make over half of my parts corner is now cleared out. Icons ride amazing, and I am pleased

Same. Did it for like 2-3 years...indoor smoking bars in Alaska made it tough to quit though.

By a factor of about ~10,000 I think.

I have all the respect in the world for people who had the willpower to quit cold turkey. I tried, many times, and failed. Vaping was (is) a life saver for me. It was more like changing brands than quitting and yet I seemed to get all the benefits of quitting. My lungs cleared up, I have more energy, and it still amazes me what I can now do without getting winded. I started with 24mg nicotine and am down to 6mg now.
I wouldn't tell someone who didn't smoke to start vaping, but I would highly recommend anyone who wants to quit smoking and can't to try vaping. From what I know, the main ingredients, propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin are completely harmless. Nicotine, while a poison in high concentrations is relatively harmless. Tomatoes and potatoes have nicotine in them. Some flavorings have the potential to be dangerous if they contain diacetyl but the information is out there to avoid them.

That would have made it tough. cigs was easy for me as I didn't do it for Long.
Mine was chewing I did it for a long time, 13 years. I just saw my daughter copying everything I did and just stopped one day. I don't even smoke cigars in front of my daughter. It is still a vice I carry.

I started at age 13-14 I think...quit shortly after being with Carm..then I ballooned up like a mofo, then started dieting/exercising and got back down.

Carm is always on my ass for chewing, so I'm try if to quit mainly for her....the issue with me is when I have a few beers/drinks on a wknd night.

at least with chew, my clothes never smelled like stale smoke.

You guys with kids especially have to quit. Like anyone should need a reason to choose life but cancer ain't no joke and the kinds of cancer you get from tobacco products is serious shit and will put you in a super early grave.
