Yeah, rad fan was off due to a shorted out and fried regulator which meant kicking the bike all day.

This is not the way to do it. :D
    [IMG]

Previous owner's lack of proper wire routing. I was waiting until this winter to tear the bike down and check everything; didn't quite make it.

I have two kids and I'm tired of having to worry about a third. Sounds like it's a little bit different now. They cut but instead of tying they burn both ends to make sure that it will be the most sure method.
I already had my preliminary appointment and the dark sent out a prescription for two Valium. I guess just to make sure that I don't get freaked out on my way in. Now I'm just trying to wait for a good weekend when I can do it.

Travis it's really not bad at all. I guess now everyone has their own method of doing it. But it was fast and simple. You'll be back on your feet in no time. Just like Devin protect yourself and like Gramps use peas. That's your best bet. I only had issues because I didn't protect myself. Plus it save the worry about kid making.

You need a kawi and that wouldn't happen! My buddy is trying to get me to do the snow shoe enduro this coming year it looks like a blast but I would have to dump some cash into the bike to do an enduro race

Yeah but the Kawi weighs too much and has peanuts for power. :D

Plus the electrical issue was because the previous owner didn't install the aftermarket reg/rec properly.

To Hoyal (or any other GSP owners) -

Put my name on a list for a GSP pup due in December (take him home February or early March). I've been around GSP some in the field and heard good things regarding them at home from their owners, but just to give me more ease about it - how is your GSP in the house, with kids, etc? Do they do OK when you're gone for work? The dog will be living with an adult lab and sufficiently exercised in the morning and evening, so he won't ever be totally alone. The breeder (who comes highly recommended from what I've read and heard) and I specifically decided on this litter because the parents are both very laid back and have historically produced extremely calm, family-oriented pups.

He's going to be a family dog first, hunter second. But he will get some field/bird time, and lots of hiking and camping.
