So I had my wife's '13 4runner on 3 wheels. Not really impressed even for a stock SUV. Although A-Trac worked pretty getting me out of the rut...

 

First off glad you're ok. Second how the hell did you do that? My runner does better in the snow than my tacoma did only because they weight distribution is different. Not that my tacoma was bad in the snow.

 

your runner only had problems on the trail i thought? where the hell is that old sig by the way!! we need to get that back instead of the butthurt cream

I discovered my Iroc's suck on the hardpack. Freaking sleigh ride lol. Siping is next on the menu.

Yeah I saw that on TW facebook. Sad, right before the holidays. I wish his family the best.

 

Didn't even have much trouble there that was just an oops, and mostly a sway bar issue which is why I don't have it on the current set up. But really though the runner is a lot better because it's not super light in the ass end. Only issues I had in my second gen is long corners and me accelerating quickly, was manageable though.

 

i have yet to do the sway bar disconnect mod, maybe when i install the pelfreybilt front bumper i might just reach back and get it done!!

 

When did you get a new bumper!?

 

couple months back placed the order, should be shipping here in the next few weeks!!

doing that, cab mount chop and installing the winch all this winter, by next summer i will probably be running 295's as well

 

Sway bar was stopping you from going forward up that ledge but the large, unforseen rock at your passenger rear while you were backing up cause the up ending.

 

Who's doing your cab mount chop? I recommend Corey at insain fab in thornton. It's the cleanest chop work I've seen done. Im a little surprised toytec dosent recommend him to do more of their work for their customers being is he's the guy who built up their sema 4Runner.

you have to disconnect it when you install the bumper as that's where his brace mounts. So technically, it would be more work to re-install it than it would to do the garage floor mod.
