    I know a guy who owns A-1 Transmission on Yuma in Denver. They said a complete rebuild $1400.00 and they are very good. You would still need some one to R&R it and you should prob replace the clutch while your at it.

    I've got alot of surface rust, so I wanted to take that off first. At least with the light bar. Do you re pirme it also or just paint over the bare metal

    Also, anyone having issues going into 4hi? I was on some diet roads yesterday and it took almost a minute to engage while driving in a straight line

    How fast were you going? Sometimes if you are going fast the system waits until there isn't any load on it to engage.

    Is there something up with 3rd gear in these tranny's? My truck has only 36k on it and I swear that my synchro is a little glitchy at times.
