So I've got a problem/question for yall. Right before I left CO for my trip to Atlanta I went to the car wash to get the truck nice and clean. Everything was working fine before I had it washed. Afterwards, I noticed that when I use the left blinker, it was blinking very fast. Now I know that that usually indicates a bulb out. Well I forgot to check it and during my drive, I noticed that all of the lights are out. no headlight, no parking light, no blinker. There is no water in the housing, and all of the connections seem to be tight. Is there a fuse for the left headlight? or a spot I should look to see if there is anything loose?

    Thanks

A small handful of select mods.
Check the internal fuse block on the left hand side of the steering wheel. The relays are behind the fuses and you have to take most of the lower dash apart to get to them. Did you put RTV on those holes we made with the rest of the wiring at the firewall?

If NO... did you spray down the engine compartment when you cleaned the truck? That could have gotten water right into the fuse block and relays inside.

Tonto I'll definitely check my grounds, my running lights are fine. So are the rest of my lights. But I'll double check all my wire.
Husky I'll keep that in mind if I don't find any issues with my wires.

I think I fixed my fuse problem..... when I did the blinker mod on the truck I guess I didn't cover the original running light wires and they eventually made contact with the inside of my fender causing the fuse to blow out. So far the fuse hasn't blown out now that the wires are taped off.

A huge shout out to northern colorado driveline. They got my DS in the morning and finished it that day. $350 for a total rebuild that included new u joints and carrier bearing. Then they painted the whole thing black.

No install yet. Removal went fine. Brett did most of the work in all honesty. Joey has to do the install since he showed up right before beer time. ;)
Oh and I didn't mention in my previous post that they fixed the shaft where I crunched it. Kinda the source of this whole situation.
    Edit: will probably install tomorrow

Where is the best place in denver to get a remote start installed? Or is it easy enough to install myself? All I want is your basic remote start. I don't need an alarm or anything fancy.
