Noah you have DTRL right? I have heard that sometimes they melt in the housing. But also make sure you get a DTRL/turn signal bulb if it is simply the bulb that went out.

 

Yeah I have the DTRL. I love them. Run them all the frickin time. As a matter of fact, I want to get a set of Amber Duallys to match the DTRL and wire them into the stock fog light switch.

I didn't get the chance to look today because all of the sudden the signal and everything started working fine again this afternoon. Very weird.

 

Driveshaft is back in and it feels like the truck drives smoother than it did before I bent the shaft in the first place. I wonder if the carrier bearing or one of the u joints was worn out and causing bad vibes before that happened.

Heard a noise coming out of work to take the trash out and said to myself it sounded like a gunshot. Drove to the end of our street to leave and saw two cops dragging a body off the sidewalk. Interesting end to the night.

 

Maybe it was an animal carcass.

 

It was a person, his pants were partially coming off as they were pulling his legs.

Though I thought they were supposed to leave everything as it was...and only a few minutes went by between when I heard it and when I saw them messing with it. They were dragging him into the weeds over a burm

Haha I actually havn't been in our salon in a while.

At first I thought it was a cop having a struggle with someone, but there was a cop in the "stance" between the two cop cars watching as the other guy was dragging.

Ill check the police blotter tomorrow, see if it pops up

That's what I'm saying! If they were struggling, they'd both have been on him. Mind you I only got a glance in as I passed by, but the dude was limp. Even what I saw for a second didn't look quite right. That's why I'm hoping something will pop up on the blotter tomorrow, or maybe the news.

Fuck the blotter. I think you should notify the media of what it is you think you saw. Like now. If that's what actually happened that shit isn't right. I would assume there's a simple explanation to what actually happened but based on what you described I'm hard pressed to come up with a simple explanation. If the dude was shot and still alive they would be moving him out of harm's way if it was in traffic or a roadway or something but to say he was dragged over a berm through some weeds makes no sense at all. Especially if you heard something that sounded like a gun shot. Option 2 was that the dude was DRT (Dead Right There) in which case they wouldn't be able to move the body until a coroner pronounced him dead & there was an investigation if it was ruled not of natural causes. Either way, that sounds like some classic cover-up type shit the way you've described it.
