    Hahaha. The wife and I dropped $4k on a new fridge and stove. That was our big gift to each other this year so we kept the other stuff low key. I have some cash and gift cards to put to good use. :)

    With all due respect, I think I had the best Christmas of anyone. Took my mom (who had a good day health-wise) back to Nebraska w/us to visit A's family (and some of ours joined) and while it was a quick trip due to weather & eminent road closures it was perfect. I won't bother listing the stuff I got because the day we had (aside from the stressful 7hrs or so of driving in shit conditions) was the best gift I could have asked for.

    In a time when so much is wrong with the world it's nice to have this little perfect moments that remind you maybe.. just maybe.. everything will be just fine.

    Thanks to all for the well wishes and Merry Christmas to each and every person who reads this.
