about the tires. I have Hankooks because I wanted something that was a good all around tire and they were priced well. They have a 50000 mile warranty to them, so I have no doubt they will last as long as I need them too. I got 5, with warranties, so if anything happens, they get replaced for free. The Goodyear Duratrac's are considered more of an all terrain and the MTR's are more of a mud terrain. What are you looking to do with the rig. I have wheeled with people with both and they do great, but the Duratracs do better for onroad handling and noise.

I like them both about the same. I like the look of mtrs a little better and the duratracs will do better in snow. I wheel as much as i can. 2 times a month. And next year ill be doing more since ill have my sliders and skids.

Getting that way. Getting used to my girlfriends cat, my allergies are off the charts with this thing around. Just have to figure out how to get rid of it without getting in trouble.

Does siping tires make them wear out faster?

Don't think so. You will prob only get about 35k out of the MTR's any way.
