My daughter and I had a great day at WP yesterday. Definitely snow loaded in the trees.

But yeah, kinda disappointing that there wasn't epic dumpage on the mountain.

I've thought about getting one of the cheapish dash cams because it could prove useful if I'm ever in an accident and not at fault

It was a shit storm up in Thornton. Really slick under the snow. Too many bald tires and too many hills. Most of the intersections were a cluster fock. Light at 88th and Washington was out for a while.

If you're driving today, please be careful.
On the 76W, I literally observed a truck turn in my rear view mirror turn sideways on the 76, and ended up with his rear left of the vehicle slamming into the cement barrier.
By the time I could safely come to a stop to check on his well-being, he was able to quickly get back on the highway.

I shoveled about 9 inches off of my driveway this morning, and it was really wet underneath. Now the road is all slushy. If it snows again this evening, the commute tomorrow is going to suck.

I wouldn't waste your time on getting a cheap one. Our first one was some russian cheap one and it was kind of hard to use and figure out as the instructions were poorly translated. Says it was HD but it wasn't. Plus it started to crap out after a year. I upgraded ours to the Cobra CDR 820 and I love it. http://www.amazon.com/Cobra-Electro...&qid=1424637121&sr=8-1&keywords=cobra+cdr+820

They actually dropped down a lot in price too. I got it for that price for cyber monday. I plan on picking up a second one to put in my truck. You do have to keep an eye on it in the winter if you have your defrosters on. I noticed that it will get a bit hot with the heat blowing on it and it will shut itself off. But otherwise it's worked loads better than my last one.

The g-sensor works well too...I've had it trigger on some larger potholes

Big tires, big lift, Lots of stuff's.
I love all the people out driving around in snow storms. It's called job security for me with people who can't drive and make terrible decisions. :D that being said I got home this morning and took a wicked nap. :)

I have used this one now for almost two years. It stays on 24/7 in the van.

That first layer was a bit wet since the ground was warmer. I'm glad I shoveled that off when it came down. It made shoveling again this evening a little easier. That or it was the snow day beers.

I'll be thanking myself for the new tires I bought this weekend.
