Very impressed with the Toyo RT in these conditions. Great grip for the wide 35s, much better than I thought.

    Please do.

I'd like it tucked up behind the rear view mirror (or ideally mounted to it) with no cords exposed.

    Sounds like fun!

But unless someone has studs or spikes my bet would be an equal fail all around.

Been years, but I remember watching bare tire races there and it was basically a super slow speed shit show.

    Don't park too close:eek:

I was surprised at what bare tires can do on ice.
The club does ice races/pulling contests every year on Lost Lake near Redfeather.

    So this one year,
when I was in band camp,
I squared off with a Ford F350 Crew Cab on studs.
My little Scout on 37's dragged his ass all over the lake.
So your Michelin's might do pretty well.

I recently got a set and am thoroughly impressed. They definitely boosted my confidence on the road this past weekend with the snowstorm. Granted, excessive confidence in wintry conditions can be a dangerous thing...

I drove from Boulder to Littleton and back Saturday evening and the only problem I had was law enforcement rerouted me off 93 due to an accident (presumably with cars not running Duratracs). I tried telling him I'm a TacomaWorld member, but he didn't seem to think that was reason to let me continue down 93.

What about my heavily siped studless winter set?

Two set of wheels and tires give me the best of both worlds, no compromising on shitty Dutatracs.... :stirthepot:

actually, as I was daydreaming about this instead of working, I was wondering what would be more beneficial... all the traction control whiz bang electronics? or 4wd?
    Kinda betting on the electronics
