Electronics kinda suck. They base the program around people who can't drive. Rather then allow oversteer they correct with a push. It makes driving with the rear end very tough. They will get you moving really quick though

    Cool DIY.

I'm looking for something (or make something) that literally mounts behind the mirror so you don't see it at all.

Thanks. Why not just flip it 180deg and fashion some sort of a bracket to camera adapter out of something or another and just use the bracket as the attachment point? Make sense? In other words, in my use the radar detector comes with a bracket/adapter that I just had to adapt to be able to properly angle the radar connector the way I wanted it. Why not simply make some sort of a bracket in this manner and this can be your mirror anchor point? Shouldn't be too hard to get the look for which you're going.

Yeah, I'll definitely mess around with something if/when I get the cam.

One question I always mull over is: Will the extra weight of the cam constantly move my mirror out of adjustment? My mirror is far from robust.

If it helps any, our dash cam is only about a two inches big by itself.

I was so blindsided by his irreverence toward TW that I blacked out. When I came to, I was driving through Littleton. It's just another testament to Duratracs. If you back out, they drive themselves.

X2. Loved them on my Tacoma, and will more than likely be going back to these on this Tundra when the new lift is purchased / installed

So far i can't say ill be going back to duratracs, not with the cost savings I've seen with the coopers / mastercrafts. Im loving the new tires on the truck, love the look, and performance so far!!

I loved my duratracs they did great in most conditions, but for an average of $270 a tire ill stick to something a little less expensive.

Remember, purchase price is only one part of the cost...

I'm not going to divulge any secrets on a public forum like this, but when you factor in wear mileage, I'm running the cheapest tire out there :D

Customer just walked up to me and noticed my gun and proceeded to say "I don't trust women who carry guns" and walked off.

$270 per tire?!? Goood laawd that's a lotta money!

Maybe you should... I dunno... shop for a better price? I realize you have a larger size tire than I do but it still shouldn't cost nearly 2x more.

um, thats what the duratracs cost at 285/70/17 dude!! Im running 295/70/17 mastercraft MXT which are $212 a tire :D Read my post again and you will see that i say i won't be going back to duratracs because of the cost savings on other branded tires, the duratracs are great but expensive just like toyo's are expensive.
