From what I heard it is like an invasion of ants in your backyard. 1000's of Jeeps show up for this event not to mention others, like Land Rovers, full sized, and of course Toyota's.

IMO I would stay away from that cluster. Too many people in an awesome place. I hear 2 hour trail rides take up to 6 hours to get everyone through. Just too many people in one place.

But more power to you if you want to check that out. I know the COTTORA group is planning a trip out there a couple of weeks after EJS when no one is there. :)

Not to mention you are going to get the right off the lot jeep owners that can't even change a tire out there for this event

I have a 6" Pro Comp lift need to install. I would really like to do myself but don't have the tools or a garage at the moment. Anyone know of a good place in the North Metro area North Denver to Ft. Collins to get this done.
I was going to have 4wheelparts Westminster but all i ever here from ya'll is they are garbage this is my pride n' joy i don't want it jacked up. Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

    A few bolts are different.
It is an invasion! I mainly want to go scout for going back in early May. Im going to bring camping gear to sleep and a lawn chair plus cooler of beer to watch the carnage. I probably wont even deal with much of any trail riding in the middle of all the crazies.

Look into Toy Crawlers; they're located in Broomfield. One of my friends who has a 1st gen got his lift installed by them and I have another who wants to lift his FJ and will be going to them.

I noticed that your profile location says Boulder, so if you want to talk to someone who works there you can call Boulder Toyota and ask to speak to Jacob in the service department. I believe that if you want to learn/participate in the installation process, Jacob will allow you to do that if you ask him about it.

I would go no where near a dealer to install your lift but that's just me.

It's not the dealer doing the install, just that some of the people who work for Toy Crawlers also work at Boulder Toyota.

I would be interested in going to watch the carnage, but agree that I probably wont do any or very little of the trail riding.

You will never stop spending money on it. Too much to add on, upgrade or armor.
Or you will end up like me and have two of them to put money into.

Does that list include gears, winch, front bumper, rear bumper, onboard compressed air, electric fans, headers, super charger, solid front axle swap and roll cage?
