Can you guys tell me where I can get a good alignment done. I've got LR UCA and want to take it to someone who will take the time to set it up correctly. I'm running 285/70-16s with 1.25" spacers on the front and they rub on the cab mount at full lock. From what I've read I guess this is unavoidable. Just looking for someone trustworthy to set up my front end. I originally had it aligned at 4wheel parts up north about 50k ago. Front end is getting sloppy and skittish.

Hate to :deadhorse: but what are the downsides to doing a flip on a 2nd gen?

    Bodyroll?

Did a lift on a 2nd gen today. Sister in law's husband's truck

    The truck, 2012
    [IMG]

The kit, 885 coils, Nitro Chargers and the add a leaf. I didn't bother with the diff drop, mainly because of a late start.

    Add a leaf was cake.

2nd gen fronts are an absolute mess. I had to disconnect the lbj and the swaybar to get the coilover on. Otherwise not much different from the 1st gen.

Apologies for the sunglare shot. He got 3" in front and 2" in back. He does have a slight bro lean going. I'm not happy with whoever sold him on the AAL, we'll prolly end up replacing the whole pack at some point depending on how much the front settles.

Not a good way to persuade me into a harbor freight winch.

Oh, I wouldn't recommend the badlands for you Charlie.

12,000 lbs of barely contained winching fury isn't for everyone.

It's best reserved for vertical ice cliffs and vicious puma filled cravices. You may want to talk to Mark from Idaho about the LOG™ winch. That may be more your speed.

Anyway, what happened is my winch, having made a couple pulls in the field, needed to have the line pulled out and respooled neatly.

    So we pulled it out......

    All the way.....

And had to reattach the line to the drum.

    Cool story huh?

That's how all the "bros" do it nowadays. They don't like rake and want the truck to be "level" like the bills of their hats.

    Silly kids.

Oh, and did you forget to do the swaybar garage floor mod?

No it was strictly a pavement queen incident.
