Charlie: I believe your unpleasant experience with Toytec was with an individual who is no longer employed with their company..

I am in contact with Toytec quite a bit, and would be happy to see if you can obtain further assistance with a more pleasant employee. Just let me know, and I would be happy to relay any message from you to see if there is a mutual resolution that can be made.

You must not have read the whole post.

Just typical Eric trying to make up for all his shortcomings by making fun of me.

Anyways, extremely pleased with how my leaf pack turned out. And my old setup was Alcan... :p

Brett they were Deaver right? While they were made at Alcan they were made to the specs that Deaver requested. They were NOT designed to handle much weight but flexed like mad and provide some lift. Hence the short life and quick to sag.

Yeah, I was only talking shit to :stirthepot:

My old setup were made my Alcan, but sold by Wheeler's Offroad, colloquially knows as the Wheelers 5 packs. They were not custom packs. They were advertised as 1.5" lift packs, I later adder the optional 1.5" AAL, and eventually the 2" lift shackles. Add it up. 5" of lift, I had about half that. I have no idea how Wheeler's has these made by Alcan, so presumably it's designed around an empty bed. I am very much aware that it is unfair to compare custom Alcan packs to my off-the-shelf version. They did flex nicely though.

With that being said, for as many people that are happy with their custom Alcans, I've also read plenty that have had bad experiences.

Regardless, I'm very, very pleased with the pack we created for me. And will gladly assist anyone that's wanting to do the same. I think the key is finding a suitable donor pack for your intended application. For a broke and starving college student such as myself, a custom leaf pack is out of the question. I got the leaves for $44 (with $6.50 worth of core charges if I had other springs to return) and bought old Brett a 6 pack for his efforts. I also have a pile of leafs up in the rafters of my garage in case I want more lift down the line.

Can anyone tell me what wire to cut or what connection to disconnect under the passengers seat of my 2011 to disable the stupid seat belt warning. I found the connection for the driver seat and took care of it, I haven't been so lucky on the passenger seat though.
I have tried all of the methods mentioned for the '09s and 10s and they did not work on my 11. Should be an easy and quick cut or disconnect fix out there.

There is a procedure of key in the ignition/cycle on in the owners manual that disables the chime without cutting wires.

The stupid human tricks with the key and ignition don't work on '12 and beyond.
I believe the break actually happened mid '11 so it's possible that if JPC's '11 is one of the later ones, it will need to be shut off via techstream.

Jeremy, you can try asking the dealer to shut it off (tell them your dog rides in the front seat or something) or, I can use the techstream clone adapter to shut it off for you. (at least I think I can. I did it on my '12)

Also, did disconnecting that wire pop up an airbag light? I've heard that disconnecting the wires to disable the seatbelt warning can deactivate airbags?
