:annoyed:Checked there first... Chapter 6, table 6.2, page 518 says that:
"Your vehicle includes a variety of electronic features that can be personalized to your preference. Programming these preferences requires specialized equipment and may be performed by an authorized Toyota dealership" - The Seat Belt Reminder Buzzer is the second item/ function listed

Eric, your right my truck was made in July 2011 . Disconnecting the connector worked like a charm on the driver seat and no air bag light popped up. I believe the air bag wire and connection are marked in bright yellow under the driver seat. I unhooked one small stand alone connector and can't imagine that it would effect the airbags operation, hopefully I'm right...

    Dang... I did not. :(

So... anyway... what's your schedule like? Supposedly my Skygear fuse box is shipping out Friday. Next week I'm gone but after that I would like to install that sucker then get my electronics projects, and CB install, going.

Feel like hanging out with an older strapping man?

    What haven’t I changed?
    X2

For me there are a couple of issues.

First, there are only 3 legs going from the sliders to the frame. The rear end of the sliders simply have a brace from the inner rail to the rear-most frame leg. It would be better to have 4 legs from the sliders going to the frame for better support for a double/access cab. It did pass the hi-lift test jacking up from the rear end of the sliders though.

Second, I ordered my sliders powder-coated, which they do in-house. But after only a few winter months in the northeast there is rust coming through the powder coat. I'm going to look into getting the powder coat removed and re-coating the sliders myself with POR-15 or similar rust preventative paint (which is better for armor as it can be easily touched up after getting scratched up), but that's additional cost and time that I'm going to have to put in that I shouldn't have to do in the first place. For comparison, my ARB is powder-coated and the only rust that's on it is the bolts used to install it, which can be replaced.

Early on when they first started making sliders with the kick-out there was an issue with double cabs where the rear doors wouldn't open in certain situations due to body/frame flex. It's supposedly been fixed, but I don't know anything about it since mine are the non-kickout ones.

Didn't fit. My back door hit the kickout on one side. Did you have no issues with yours? If not, you're the first person I've talked to with no issues on anything from BAMF

Well mine were professionally welded on, so I didn't have any issues with the kickout hitting the door, no.

And mine have 4 legs attached to the frame: 868fd7498e96a4c723139e6b710d3ae5_dafa556ce936588f2202d62fec846ea07afc9eea.jpg

I love my BAMF sliders. No problems whatsoever. Badass as hell and very stout

Yeah, I should have gotten them bare metal and weld-on. I was just having commitment issues with a mostly permanent mod like weld-on sliders :)

I feel ya. I was hesitant at first too, but I don't plan on getting rid of her either. So weld on.
