Likewise. I have that bookmarked in my TrailDamage folder but do not know anything about the trail and it seems like it might have a couple of sketchy places w/o bypasses.

Yeah, I'll be facing some tough career decisions come the end of summer. Hopefully I will have options, moving farther away for a few years and saving to come back might be a very real option

Took me a minute to figure out. You click "Multi-Quote" and then you have to click "insert quotes" on the left side opposite "Post Reply". It only shows up once you choose "Multi-Quote" on someones post. Single quoting, like this post, is still the same.

You can also toggle "Multi-Quote" on and off as needed.

So that little trail run this weekend hammered my alignment.
The wife took it in to get it aligned today and it's all better so nothing was bent or broken.

Weird thing is I've wheeled much much harder and not messed up the alignment like that so I'm wondering what caused it to come out of alignment so badly.
Just a few weeks ago I pulled the cam bolts and antiseized them (I've since learned that I did virtually nothing as it's the sleeves that seize) then had it aligned.
So I'm thinking that either the antiseize made the cams easier to knock out of adjustment or that the previous alignment left the bolts too loose.
I intend to crawl under there and tighten things up really well.
What all should I tighten? I figure all the cam bolts and the lock nuts on the tie rods but that's all I know about. Are there any other adjustments?

    TL;DR
HEY JACE OR BRIAN. WHAT ALL SHOULD I TIGHTEN TO MAKE SURE MY ALIGNMENT STAYS PUT?

Peaceful yes and good for campfires, but we've got a lot of moab prep to do and no garage to do it in now. :/ no progress being made with all the rain.

I picked up a possible project for $25 from a coworker. Might restore and try to get into BBQ catering (especially for outside events like RT, if I ever get to go again) or strip it down to frame and axle and do an adventure trailer.

$25?!? That's a hell of a steal! Would love to see that thing as a trail smoker!

When I read my post I started thinking just that. If I DO get to go to RT or any other outdoor gig where I could put it to work, I would want to have a place to stay. Have lots of ideas right now :drevil:

It was a "smoking" deal...sorry I had to. Anyway, it is already an awesome smoker. It needs some TLC and some plate welded over a few holes that have formed over the years stored outside. But the frame is solid and overall tows very nicely and is balanced enough that one person can move it around by the tongue.
