Not too familiar with alignment shops in the Springs but the TCT Magazine guys use the Larry H. Miller Toyota dealer a lot.

 

I've gone to the Firestone off south academy and they have done what I have asked of them and seem pretty decent. Plus life time alignment and shit

 

We use Toyota in Motor City. It may cost a bit more, but I've been to other places that they just let any employee align vehicles...certified or not. I don't trust that. So to Toyota I go.

I'm quite amazed at some of the comments made about "4x4ers" in the article and in the comments section. Even some talking about sabotaging our tires. Really makes me not want to help any hikers I come across anymore for the contempt they have for us. I always noticed getting the stink eye from hikers on that trail in particular.

 

Dirt bikers have had trails booby-trapped in the past. Be aware, be safe.

 

Yeah I've always seen horror stories of people booby trapping trails for bikes and ATVs, I've seen it done for horses too.

 

I just now noticed my sig. WHO DID THAT I WONDER.

 

They should work. If I remember at 5am I'll throw them in my truck I'm working All weekend. Station 2 tomorrow and station 1 sat sun.

Yeah I saw that too and facepalmed hard.

I also laughed at the "Enjoyed your description of the 4x4's and occupants. I think they are in the same class of creature that rides 4 wheelers thru any and all terrain and wreck it." some guy said in the comments.

But in the article "So many people have chosen the bushwhack option, that social trails have developed through the shrubbery. Many of these short trails are easy to follow, others require true shrub stomping skills."

What's up Colorado crew! I'm currently in Denver/Lakewood until Monday and have been here since Wednesday. We spent a day moving my sister here from Tucson, AZ and now have been vacationing with the family for a while. Gotta say, it's awesome here in every aspect!

What are some of the top things to do from your guy's opinions? We've done the coors brewery tour, the Hammonds chocolate tour, went to Broncos Stadium and also Red Rocks Amphitheater (which is right near my sisters new school she will be teaching at). I know it is touristy stuff but it's all been a blast! We don't have a 4x4 vehicle nor a license for fishing or anything.

You guys have it lucky here at this time of year! Hopefully someday when I come back to visit I'll be able to meet some of you all.

 

You could drive to the top of a 14er (Evans, pikes) since you won't probably be acclimated enough to hike even an easy one. You could see our awesome zoo, go hike the flat irons in Boulder or garden of the gods in the springs, Boulder also has the celestial seasonings tea factory, Fort Collins has new Belgium brewery, I guess there is a cool wildlife sanctuary with more lions and bears than any zoo out east somewhere, or you come do yard work at my place, there is lots to do here!
