    I don't know what they say about your 2nd gen parts, nor do I know what parts those are, but Moog has gone way downhill in recent years. I wouldn't trust them too much.

    I thought it was just the greasable cams that people had trouble with?

    Anyway, these are tie rods. Hopefully they work ok.

    James said his LBJ s with zerks had play in them when removed. Lots of first gens have had issues with LBJ s too.

    You're probably OK, but keep an eye on them and bring spares. For what we do I'd be cautious about replacing steering/suspension components with anything other than OEM.

    You can't buy the ball joint from toyota without the arm with it so it's not even an option really and totally justifies the total chaos lowers if you are that concerned. I've run Moog joints on other vehicles that were fine for long term. These have zerks so I'd assume they are even better than prior Moog parts I have used. Quit fear mongering kid

    So the taco is down. I had a big pop in my exhaust and it ran ok above 30 MPH. I barley made it home and it idled ruff. It smelled like a rotten egg smell so i'm thinking my cat took a shit. It won't start now that I turned it off. Any ideas? I guess this weekend I'll pull the cat and see if the truck will start. unless someone else can give me an idea how to trouble shoot that.
