Did they do a before and after test to see what the differences were?

Late to topic but I think BAMF has solved these quality issues mentioned, I know of at least 3 sets that have come in and both InSain and RTI said they were quality product with zero issues welding on. RTI can also do custom and you would need to talk to Kirk for pricing since he doesn't have posted (Facebook onlythese days).

Saw a third-gen in Highlands Ranch today. Looked so similar to a 2nd gen on the outside atleast. Shrug.

I know one things for sure. I'd have to get JBL. The one I test drove had the regular stereo and it was craptastic.

I saw a third gen near Sloans Lake with Groove plates. I do really like the way they look until that jacked up grill comes into view.

True, but it's still a lot more subtle than 1st -> 2nd gen. Especially with the little styling tweaks/updates made the past few years. My first thought is 'stuck a 4Runner front end on a Tacoma'. Not that I've looked at one up close and personal yet. I'll be driving my current one into the ground, so I don't really care that much. :D Does it have that same newer engine and the cartridge filter? And require removing three plates with 13 bolts just to do an oil change?

I don't know where you live, but wheel spacers should be about a 10 min. job.
Happy to help if you need it, but where are you putting your jack?
Never seen a jack that wouldn't lift the rear from the diff and in the front, if you're careful and your jack has some tabs on the lift plate, you should be able to hook the LCA and lift from there.

On the way to Coors Field. My daughter's choir is part of the choir group that is singing the national anthem for the Rockies game this evening.

I second this. My BAMF sliders have held up well and performed when I needed them to but the lack of QA/QC made for a far more difficult install than necessary.

Plus the response I got from BAMF when I PM'd him the details was less than anything I could expect. And I made it clear I'm not looking for compensation or free product, it was just a detailed PM for his own benefit.

Mine was last Saturday, 3 or 4 schools. The kids had a lot of fun. The Rockies won 10-2 so that was cool also.

Walk off HR to end it was pretty exciting. I called it too.

Unfortunately there were three or four DBs sitting in front of us. Even had to say something to the most amateur when the popcorn he threw on his friend landed on my GF, daughter, me and in my beer.
