so, how many of you went out to check your plates?

They have a cat, so, who cares.

 

Mine just say U.S. Army. I lost my front plate in a mud hole in Alaska somewhere haha

My buddy is a sheriff down there, told me about it. Pretty crazy

 

I was definitely about a mile away going for a run at that time. Didn't even realize it.

 

So i have drank the quad kool aid. My heli's will never forgive me.

First flight with the Go Pro attached, in extremely high winds. Never should have even attempted it. Ends in a crash.

So much fun! It's like a "fly your own roller coaster" ride.

 

you crazy! I don't play around with wind haha

 

I'm used to variable pitch and a high head speed. Heli's don't fly, they beat the air into submission, so wind is not a big deal.
Here's another later in the day with slightly less wind. I learned later on that having the GPS turned off really helps.
This is literally my third flight with this quad, so still learning to trust it.

First time out with a new toy, wind wasn't gonna stop me from producing that epic bit of aerial photography. Prolly won't ever strap on the camera again in winds like that though.

 

Weird, the GPS is supposed to help you lol. I use my GPS so I can just let go of the controls and it just hangs out where I left it. You'll be happy as a clam once you get a gimbal!

Also, I don't have truck plates either lol
