My sliders are powdercoated. I haven't checked them in a while but the Best part of the Shrockworks design is the powdercoat, damn near bombproof.

Where yall going in CC area that isnt covered in snow?

Oh it will be covered in snow that's part of the fun. Yeah I was going to powder coat mine I can get it done cheap. But I have a feeling mine are going to take a beating so I wanted an easy fix. So I rattle canned mine.

thats the reason i sprayed mine, but now they are all rusty and need to get cleaned and painted again, did not know if it was worth it to powercoat them. ive never been offroading in colorado, so im not sure what the terrain is out here, i would assume rocky and beat the shit out of sliders, so i may just stick with the rattle can

I used a spray on truck bed liner for mine. Its great because it has some grip to it.

Honestly mine are powdercoated but get a coat of rattle can at the end of the wheeling season to cover the fresh scrapes from the rocks. It's like waxing your truck probably should be done at least once a year. Bumper get rattle canned once a year too. I guess maybe I should have waxed the truck this last year. I will have to remember to do that. :D

When I added all my armor I just made sure to wheel really hard and test them out before I painting. So i didn't have to feel bad about scratching my new shit :p:D

i used rustolium proffesional on my bumper and im gonna use the same on the front bumper(when i get it soon). great paint, goes on rela nice. primer, paint and clear. and like some one said^^^^ when u scrath it wheelin, spray..... done, like new :D not worth the powder coat in my opinion. especially sliders, they get scratched alot.

and yes behind central city is snowy, but there is a tail back there thats frequently traveled on. its alot of fun and not hard at all. at the very end theres a nice little hill climb and a cool place to chill at the top and take pictures. i went with the t4r guys in my ex's runner last year. it'd be a good time. hopefully we can get a few trucks together!:D

    Hey everyone,
I just moved back home, Broomfield, from the military and am looking for trail rides and ideas on what I should do next to my Tacoma. I basically have a lift and exhaust, so whats next? Any ideas would be great, thanks,
