Ever set torque up like this?

Its kinda cool. Not sure why there's a double reflection though. Maybe it's reflecting off both sides of the glass?

Finally got my Maxtrax... didn't feel like waiting until they come back in stock and found a place with a few sets of black in Cali.



Didn't get them until after clearing the first bit of Longwater Gulch, so I wasn't able to test them out yet.

 

It's a little annoying, but it's easier to read in person than how the picture looks

 

Try and holding it parallel with the wind shield and see it that makes it any better.

 

I did. The problem is you're not looking perpendicular to the windshield. It's the angle you're looking at, not the angle it's sitting at.

That's the way I did it.
I even did it in @CoTacoTRD 's driveway.

@RockyMtnTRD needs a different way though. We looked at his today and earlier trucks must have the relay in a different spot?

Yes at least Longwater. We made first tracks up to the first flat area of the hill. The first few hundred feet up the hill took a bit of time, had lunch where it levels off then turned back. There was a tree down across the trail before you get up to the top two hundred feet from where we stopped. As well as a lot more deep snow.

And most of the snow on the gulch trail was sugar snow, 12-18" or so deep in most spots.

When we were leaving, a jeep was stuck just inside the gates and they turned back... Because they knew they wouldn't be able to follow in the mighty Tacoma footsteps. Haha

And the duratracs performed very well! They were able to do quite a bit just being in 2wd.

 

Thinking about getting a pair of the TREDs to keep in my truck. Did you get a good deal on the Maxtrax?

His TREDS were crap, got returned and went legit

 

He had shitty builts not treds.
